  Most of the stuff is 99c but a lot isn't, so they lose points for dishonesty and false advertising . Also, it's the only major store chain that doesn't have ONE express checkout land and no matter how many people are in line they NEVER have more than 3 checkout lanes open out of 7 or 8. But, on the other hand the employees are helpful and kind, although some don't speak English, which is just wrong.
